Notice the other browser tabs. Two actual “personal pages” that rah-rah for Bush (What’s her name, the wannabe Coulter, and Hugh Hewitt) show up just fine, as our Marine Operative confirms. But “Talking Points Memo,” which is apparently one of the “left leaning” sites one hears so much about these days, is prohibited.
Writes the Corporal: “I think that this kind of censoring is a big deal. I can understand blocking porn, music and movies, and blatantly illegal sites, but blocking sites that some higher up just doesn’t agree with is disgusting. They are blocking a huge portion of voters from information that will help them determine which side to vote for. Because of this, the only news we get is from the big corporations or conservative based sites.”

BTW this is not a good way to tell the Marines they really HAVE the freedoms they are supposedly fighting for.
But then again the war is about spreading FEAR not freedom, and getting the rights to control the OIL.
Why can't the Marines just accept Georgie and Gen Peter pace really know what's best for them, and accept limits on freedom that would make Stalin smile.

Great post Clif from Wonkette! Amazing how Big Brother wants to keep our soldiers stupid. Isn't this the best way to brainwash them?
Our poor soldiers are subjected to Ass Limbo (aka Rush Limbaugh) for at least an hour a day over there and I wonder if they were subjected to Ass's hatred of those with Parkinson's disease? Wonder if they also heard Ass's non-apology?
Let's hope lots of our soldiers have family members with this horrible disease so they can understand WHO THEY'RE REALLY FIGHTING FOR: RIGHT WING IDIOTIC ASSHOLES BACK HOME!!!
Does the Bush government really think our U.S. troops are so gullible, that if they censor what they read, that everything will be great?
Bush and his boys would like nothing better than to have a state run media (like Fox News) so all news is peaches and cream.

It looks like the prisoners in American jails, have more media freedom than our own U.S. troops in Iraq.

Bush and his boys must think the soldiers aren't smart enough to know, that all the bombs and bullets they dodge every hour, is proof that Bush has lost his little war.
Just because Bush says he is winning his little war, doesn't make it so.
