The corrupt House republicans are...

...now compiling lists of the House pages and interns who are gay. Why? Who knows, but I suspect the male republicans in the House are pissed off because their little scandal was exposed, so now their taking names down for future reference! Can you imagine how these kids must feel about this? Can you imagine being a teenager and being chosen to work alongside those in our government only for them to turn on you like dogs because they're nothing but a bunch of perverts? I can't! Disgusting.

In his blog, David Corn (davidcorn.com) reported: "There’s a list going around. ...It’s a roster of top-level Republican congressional aides who are gay. CBS News on Tuesday...reported that there’s anger among House Republicans at what an unidentified House GOPer called a ’network of gay staffers and gay members who protect each other and did the Speaker a disservice.’ The implication is that these gay Republicans somehow helped page-pursuing Mark Foley before his ugly (and possibly illegal) conduct was exposed. The List - drawn up by gay politicos - is a partial accounting of who on Capitol Hill might be in that network."

In The Corner, a nationalreview.com blog, John Podhoretz reported Oct. 5 that the list includes nine chiefs of staffs, two press secretaries, and two directors of communications. If the list is accurate, Podhoretz wrote, "it shows that some of the religious right’s favorite representatives and senators have gay staffers helping them advance their political careers and agendas."

If this part of the Foleygate scandal is true, then let it be known now that grown men and women in the House of Representatives are working diligently to ruin the careers of these young people for speaking up against the child predators in their own party. One thing is for sure, the republican party is now the party of smear, lies, corruption, and criminals. Freaking disgusting! I guess the republicans in the House could care less that these young kids look up to them. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these kids switch parties after all is said and done. Watching those they admired cover up this scandal must be devastating to them all!
