Silver linings...part deux
The Foley scandal does have a silver lining......
at least for democrats......
TIME Poll: The Foley Sex Scandal Has Hurt G.O.P. Election Prospects
Two-thirds of those aware of the scandal believe Republican leaders attempted a cover-up, according to a new survey
which includes this tantilising tidbit;
Iraq, meanwhile, is continuing to be a problem for the Republicans. Only 38% of respondents in the TIME poll now support President Bush's decision to invade Iraq, down from 42% three months ago. A similar number believe that the new Iraqi government will succeed in forming a stable democracy, while 59% believe this is unlikely. Almost two-thirds (65%) of respondents disapprove of President Bush's handling of the war, while 54% believe he "deliberately misled" Americans in making his case for war — a figure that has increased by 6 points over the past year. President Bush's overall approval rating, according to TIME's poll, now stands at just 36%, down from 38% in August.
Bush at 36% and 2/3 of the American people think the repugs are covering up, looks like ABC wasted about $40,000,000 on it's propoganda film last month...........LOL
That is kind of an expensive silver lining, but what the hell, it was repug money after all, and they wasted it, especially when they see the results November 8th....
The ones whose heads do not explode election night as the results come in......
Couldn't happen to a better group of liars and criminals.

Clif, on Americablog yesterday, there was a poll which gave the republicans in the House a 16% approval rating of how they've handled Foleygate. 16%!!!! And yet, no one's head is on a platter! The 84% who are pissed off in this country will be voting in November (let's hope) and will see to it then to kick their asses out and give them all the punishment they deserve!!!
I still would like to know how the Hookergate of last year is connected to all of this. The parties at the Watergate Hotel included gay male prostitutes, so I'd like to know how many of these prostitutes were male pages and if Jeff Gannon was their pimp!!!
