Christopher Shays has won a much deserved award

Awwwww how cute. Christopher Shays, the republican US represenative of Connecticut, has won an award (see it at the above link) for saying this about Ted Kennedy when asked about Dennis Hastert:

"I know the speaker didn't go over a bridge and leave a young person in the water," Shays was quoted Wednesday by the Courant. "Dennis Hastert didn't kill anybody."

What a well deserved award. :-)

Will there ever be a time when the republicans won't bring this accident up? If not, then I hope the assclowns in the current republican party realize that we (liberals, democrats, rational republicans) will not forget what they've done. Shays needs to realize that crimes against children are as bad as drunk driving accidents. Each is horrifying. The End.
