Justice Roberts Wants Money

Supreme Court Justice John Roberts criticizes Congress because judical pay is to low. Roberts says the pay is so low it may undermine the independence of the judiciary.

Roberts went on to say the judiciary will not serve its constitutional role if the judges are so wealthy they can afford low compensation. Roberets claims the pay scale for judges is so low it can't attract the less than wealthy.

Federal district court judges make $165,200 per year while appeals court judges make $175,100, associate judges of the Supreme Court make $203,000 and the chief justice gets $212,100.

Only in America would the wealthiest demand more money. Only in America would the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court cry foul because he suddenly is overpaid on the job he lobbied his wealthy Republican friends for.

The everyday American doesn't make $165,200 much less the massive $212,100 that poor Roberts gets as he struggles to make ends meet.

Judges lobby their party elite for these jobs and these same judges are making a killing off the U.S taxpayer deciding in favor of whichever the wind blows.

Do the justices of the Supreme Court deserve a raise after they wrongfully handed the Presidency over to an imcompent oil man to curry favors we will never know? Do the Supreme Court justices deserve to be rewarded for placing a warmonger into power who has nearly destroyed the security of America?

Does Chief Justice Roberts deserve a raise for spending a few weeks out of the year in his silk robe and tossils making sure the Republican cause is backed by law?

Why isn't there a term limit for the Supreme Court justices so they can get back out into the real world and make a living, if they are so underpaid?

Why does the taxpayer pay over $200,000 a year for tired, old, worn out judges to show up in court a few weeks a year, to sleep until a clerk wakes them up to either vote the Republican way, or go home from a long days nap?

The American judical system is a pathetic form of thievery for wealthy idealogues to continue the party line no matter what the cost. Why do they deserve more money?

If Chief Justice Roberts and his colleagues needs more money for taking naps, then perhaps its time they resign and start a daycare. They take naps everyday as well.

Well maybe Roberts should stick it out till 2009 then resign when we have a democratic president in the White House.
