Homeland Security's Mark of the Beast

Instead of capturing terrorists who are coming into our country via airplanes, ships, or by any other means, the Department of Homeland Security has decided to give each passenger a 'terror number' to determine the level of suspicion to each and every person who does come to our country or who is travelling abroad. Guess what? This means that the average American travelling abroad for vacations or for business has been marked by the Homeland Security Beast in the past four years and they don't even know it.

Virtually every person entering and leaving the United States by air, sea or land is scored by the Homeland Security Department's Automated Targeting System, or ATS. The scores are based on ATS' analysis of their travel records and other data, including items such as where they are from, how they paid for tickets, their motor vehicle records, past one-way travel, seating preference and what kind of meal they ordered.

(...)

The Homeland Security Department called the program "one of the most advanced targeting systems in the world" and said the nation's ability to spot criminals and other security threats "would be critically impaired without access to this data."
Feel safer now? Does it make sense to assign a number to a "suspected terrorist" who appears on a watchlist or does it make sense to go after this "terrorist" instead when the threat level for this person is a high number?!!!

The Bush Regime over the past six years has created quite the database on Americans and others. I find it intrusive and not very potent against the real enemies of our country. The fact that the Bush Regime has now laxed the visa rules of those coming into our country is an indication that the Regime is not interested in those who wish to harm our country and our people. Average Americans will get the Mark of the Beast while the terrorists can pass in and out of our country freely.

Good point, Volt. It appears libs are opposed both to nationality profiling as well as objectively measuring the threat potential of each air traveller.

Libs won't be satisfied unless the terrorists win.
